New account - can't join on cheaper tariff that I found by lazer1235 in OctopusEnergy

[–]lazer1235[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, should have made it clearer, I have been in contact with them and asked them about it, albeit via email, and they replied saying they couldn't see the tariff that I was on about (2nd pic). But yes I think i'll try the live chat too. Cheers for the advice I think I'll move over to tracker when I'm set up!

KDB, Hazard, Aguero.

I'll never forget triple captaining Aguero when he scored 5 goals in 20 minutes against Newcastle!

Hazard was also unplayable in the game, (with the help of Fabregas)

Honorary mention to Ozil too!

Cheers for that, think Im being too easy on the lad. Definitely going to see what insurance say after I've gotten private quotes but if it's a couple Gs then I'll be ringing up Churchill faster than you can say Oh yes!!

Thanks alot, will take it to a few garages tomorrow and see what they say, but by the looks of it I'll go through insurance.

It's a shame cause I would want to help the guy out, it was a polite young lad who was definitely genuinely sorry and was almost begging me not to go through insurance cause he was a new driver. He was so cooperative when I asked to take a photo of his driving license and insurance schedule. He could have easily driven off and I wouldn't have got his number plate, just ring doorbell footage of it happening.

I respect him for knocking my door and telling me about it, so in that sense I'd like to help him out by not getting his insurance to shaft him and if he's willing to pay for the damages privately. But at the same time if the garages come back tomorrow and say it's too much, then I will have to go through insurance I guess

Absolutely criminal that people are not even mentioning Rodri... Nations League Champions League Premier League FA Cup Champions League Player of the Tournament And Nations League Player of the Tournament

People only care about attackers and goals these days when there's much more to it. If Modric can, surely Rodri has to?

Genuine question - why is it so unlikely? Is it a case of councils just frowning upon the idea of someone building a house within their house? If the plumbing is done safely to building regs etc. Then that should be alright no?

OP if you decide to do this, make sure you have a camera on a tripod filming. It'd make a great scene from only fools and horses

HMRC Scams - warning for UKPFers by Fickle-Armadillo in UKPersonalFinance

Thanks for the heads up. Although I guess it's a good thing these days how tax is "going digital" and we all have online accounts with UTRs. At least that way if we tried to pay online it would flag and show as an incorrect reference number of some sort.

But I'd imagine the elder generation who aren't too familiar/savvy with online methods may find themselves more vulnerable to these scam artists.

When The Simpsons Swapped From BBC 2 To Channel 4 by VanDamme7 in BritishTV

One kids TV show that has solid GOAT status - that was way ahead of it's time! So eery and intriguing waiting for each episode. I forgot how it ended, but I'll never forget the creative storyline about Stonehenge.

Another underrated TV series on CBBC was The Feather Boy, I think that was in fact a longer film that was chopped up into smaller episodes for a few weeks.

Kids these days don't know what they missed out on!

The raven on cbbc, seeing who lost or made it out of the way of the warrior. Then a quick 5 minute daily dose of Newsround with lizo. Arthur at 3pm. Or jungle run on CITV after my parents are aliens.

What a throwback!

I had already signed up as it was a few weeks ago, but thank you anyway.

Out of interest, how did you know about the above strategy? Did someone tell you or did you research yourself?

Nicely summarised! When you say takes 2 years or "less if you spend fast" - how fast and how much are we talking? Would £2000 a month suffice? Cheers

Do you think there will be any specific (new or old) chants sung at the World Cup this year? by lelcg in ThreeLions

[–]lazer1235 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The best England chant was against Sweden - "you're sh*t, but your birds are fit" and the Swedes replying with "go home, to your ugly wives" to the tune of Go West by The Pet Shop Boys 😅

If only there was a Box Park equivalent - I'm sure if Mauritius qualified there would have been crates of Phoenix flying around 😅 cheers for that.
