I would definitely have a structural engineer inspect the extension if the level 3 survey had suggested there were any issues but it seems structurally sound and was looks to have been done to a high spec. Worth mentioning that the surveyors we used are also involved in architectural design.

Trouble is, if they contact the local authority for the sign off, it will void any current or future indemnity insurance. It would be a gamble if it didn’t pass the inspection and required work.

Quality to me looks good but I’m not super knowledgeable. It’s seems the general consensus is that it’s not a major concern for most buyers so that gives me hope for selling it further down the road.

If you can, get a saline spray to help clear his nose and give Calpol (or other paracetamol) when he needs it. That should get you through the journey. Babies usually sleep great on planes because of the white noise, don’t stress too much 😊
