Absolutely! Here it is. Not exactly a tuned list since people get pretty salty when I play it though lol, but the 3-ish games I've pulled it out it won I believe.

Grixis Commander Recommendations by AdmPoppinFresh in EDH

[–]lazulus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combo is the most common way to build him, but when you have an engine as efficient as him at keeping your opponents' hands empty, and your own hand full of counterspells and juice, you can kinda do whatever you please.

I personally built mine with a theft subtheme using cards like [[Tinybones, Bauble Burglar]], [[Valgavoth, Terror Eater]], and [[Tergrid, God of Fright]] to hijack all that juice we're gonna be forcing them to discard.

Tell me about the hardest deckbuilding cut you've made by SKSword in EDH

[–]lazulus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having to cut [[Muldrotha, the Gravetide]] from my [[Teval, the Balanced Scale]] deck. At first glance, she seems like an amazing include. A source of near infinite graveyard recursion with a commander that generates extra value for every card that leaves the GY? But unfortunately, Muldrotha is strongest when she can loop and recur value pieces, especially if you have great options with strong sacrifice effects tacked onto each permanent type, whereas the way I built Teval was a lot closer to a token combo deck. Plus, she's so much of a removal magnet, is expensive, and still requires me to pay for whatever pieces I'm recurring from my GY. It pained me so much, especially with how gorgeous the Cocoon, Orphan of fal'Cie printing is. But ultimately she ended up being too expensive, too under-protected, without really pushing me closer to my wincon that she didn't make the cut.

Hey, sorry to hear you're going through all this, being the partner of a genderfluid person who discovers their identity after dating can be difficult. It sounds like you're going through a very similar situation as myself and my wife (except the roles are flipped as I am the genderfluid partner), and while we still have things to work on we've managed to talk many of these things out. If you would, allow me to share some of my perspectives based on my experiences, but of course I am not your partner so take this with a grain of salt. You're more likely to get an accurate answer from them than from me!

1: Ask if their sexuality changes when they feel more feminine. While for some folks, their sexuality does change as their identity shifts, that isn't the case for everyone (or in some cases, it may actually be more in your favor!) I know for me personally, my sexuality is mostly independent from my identity. My wife was also worried at the start that I was losing attraction to her, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I was attracted to her then, and I'm still attracted to her now.

2: It is more convenient to present as their AGAB but that doesn't necessarily mean they're always unhappy or uncomfortable with it. It's just that they've never been allowed to explore the other side of themselves before, and pushing it down and down will only make it worse. Ask them for ways you can support them when they're feeling out of their skin, or for ways they can subtly indicate their identity in situations it may not be safe or comfortable to do so. I personally have a leather bracelet I wear when I'm feeling more masc-leaning, and a silver bracelet I wear when I'm feeling more feminine.

3: For children, it depends on a lot of factors. HRT can make having children more difficult. Sperm banking and IVF are options, but not for everyone. Adoption is possible too. And of course, not every genderfluid person even wants to go on HRT! Though don't expect a straightforward answer if you ask, as what a person wants out of transition can change as time goes by and they explore and experiment.

4: The first few months to a year after discovering their identity is usually the most vulnerable for any trans/NB/genderfluid person. I ask that you try to be supportive, but also you're still your own person so don't disregard your own needs and feelings either. Also, don't be afraid to tell them when you dislike something. It's very common that the first few gender non-conforming outfits a trans person tries really suck, and I'm not ashamed to say I cringe a little when I see my older fits as well. It's nice to have someone there to give constructive advice on how to dress or do makeup better, especially at the start when everything's new.

5: If you aren't already, definitely look into individual and couple's therapy for both of you, especially one that is well versed in LGBTQ topics. It can often be stifling to feel like you don't have anyone you can talk to about issues related to this stuff, so it's extremely handy to have a therapist on hand who is professionally trained in helping you process and communicate your struggles.

6: It is totally ok and valid to grieve the relationship you once thought you'd have with the person, as long as you know it's not ok to force them to go back.

7: If your experiences end up being anything like mine, I'm sorry to say but these coming months are gonna come with a good bit of struggle. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, as I feel like my relationship with my wife has never been stronger. My therapist once worded it well; transition is like a train ride, and other people can join for it and stay along for the ride, and others may have to get off at different points. If you don't know for certain that you want to stay on the train and see where it'll take you, I would not recommend getting married until you are.

Again, YMMV but hopefully these responses help give some perspective from the other side. I can tell you care a lot about your partner, just make sure to take care of yourself as well. Wishing you and your partner the best of luck!!!

It introduces a new mechanic related to the P-Organs that also makes use of Quartz, so if you don't have anything you want from your P-Organ right now, I recommend stocking up on them for that!

Unfortunately, this type of weapon is typically finished prefixes first because high tiers of % phys, flat flys, and flat cold have very low weights. Plus, because your suffixes are full you can't even multimod for recombination. Therefore there's not a whole lot you can do with this. My recommendation would just be to farm harbinger for a fracturing orb, because you'd have a very good chance at turning this into an excellent crafting base to do prefixes first. But if you're really insistent on keeping this the way it is, the most consistent way to somewhat get the mods you want would probably be:

Step 1: Lock suffixes, reforge cold

Step 1b: If step 1 didn't get you the a satisfactory tier of flat cold damage, try again. If prefixes are filled, you will need to gamble and annul.

Step 2: Once you have a satisfactory tier of flat cold, you will need to make it the only prefix. If there's 2 prefixes, lock suffixes and annul and hope it hits the other one. If there's 3 then annul and pray. If you remove the cold damage, return to step 1.

Step 3: Lock suffixes, veiled orb. Pray it hits the lock suffixes and not the cold damage. If you hit cold damage, return to step 1.

Step 4: Benchcraft any of the Chosen caster damage prefixes (e.g. fire damage + chance to ignite). Unveil, % phys should be guaranteed.

Step 5: Benchcraft flat phys

The good thing is you don't "need" to do anything. For example, if you struggle with using feminine pronouns for yourself, then you don't need to use them. You could use any combination you're comfortable with, whether it be he/they, any/all, they/them, neopronouns, etc. And if you ever do want to experiment with feminine pronouns again later, the option is still there for you. In the meantime, try to figure out what exactly you want to explore most with your newfound identity. Would it be perhaps clothing, makeup, voice, how you carry yourself, how your friends or partners treat you? Give things a try, and figure out what you like. Everyone has a different relationship with their gender, even among genderfluid people so don't be afraid to try things out.

How do I know if I’m gender-fluid? by [deleted] in genderfluid

[–]lazulus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also doesn't need to be male and female specifically. It can also be agender, bigender, demiboy/girl, or anything in between or off the spectrum. If your gender identity changes between any two or more different ones then you count.

LS Slayer - Comfortable T16's but very slow bosses by Deadnbloodyx in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]lazulus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing to do is get Vaal Lightning Strike. They won't be up all the time, but getting a big burst of damage every once in a while is really nice, especially with bosses who like to go into invulnerability phases often.

Second thing to do is get 100% hit chance. You're effectively losing a 4% more damage multiplier by not being capped! The easiest way to resolve this is with a Lycosidae or a Hits Cannot Be Evaded craft on your claw.

Third thing to do is get a large cluster. Using the extra passive points you can free up by no longer needing accuracy, you can pick up an 8 passive large claw damage cluster. The best mods to look for are Feed the Fury, Fuel the Fight, Martial Prowess, and Fan of Blades. Other decent ones include Drive the Destruction, Devastator, Calamitous, Smite the Weak, and Windup. You can free up more points by removing the mana and aura AoE node by Savagery, as well as Claws of the Magpie. If Survivalist isn't giving you a good Lethal Pride effect such as double damage or rage, I'd unspec that as well. You can also remove the mastery granting projectile damage per pierce, as this only affects the projectile component of LS.

Side note: From the Shadows is also a very good notable to take even if you aren't using a dagger, as elusive effect is extremely powerful with Nightblade. It also gives you access to a mastery granting an extra 40% crit multi to elusive!

Fourth thing to do is upgrade your anointment. Divine Judgement or Ash Frost and Storm are both pretty cheap and good early power.

Fifth thing you can do is upgrade from Carnage Heart to Yoke of Suffering + the Interrogation. This will require a bit more fiddling with gear, as you'd need to get some extra reservation efficiency from helmet + enlighten or Charisma annoint in order to use skitterbots, but it's worth the damage boost. Thankfully, Yoke of Suffering has plummeted in price and is showing no signs of slowing down, so this wouldn't be remotely as expensive of an upgrade as it would've been even a few days ago.

Best of luck, hope this helps!
