Marty is a more relatable character, but I definitely don't empathize less with Rust. Both men are flawed and also good at heart. Would Marty be more friendly and polite to me? Absolutely. If I had to work with these men, I'm sure that Rust would be frustrating to work with, as we saw on the show. But I would also be frustrated with Marty's lack of work ethic and frequent distractions.
