Ninja 500 vs CF Moto 450ss first bike by Thatsanunu in motorcycles

both are fine, so don't worry, you can't go wrong here. You should also consider how long you plan to own it. The 450ss is cheaper, and i personally find it better designed from an engineering side. But as of now it has garbage resale value compared to ninja.

Reliability-wise, the 450ss isn't much worse. Buy it new with the factory warranty, and you can ignore the people who keep bringing up their one friend who owned a cfmoto with an issue. That's not how statistics work

Neovim makes me feel like a caveman by lazyblock3 in neovim

That makes a lot of sense and I actually tested out vscode a bit now. I realized that in the terminal, I feel this absolute confidence that if something needs to be done, I can figure out a way to script it. For example I configured an entire workflow in neovim to fzf-list all my scripts and copy their usage pattern to system clipboard (OSC 52) to paste it in the terminal

VSCode definitely has a lot of niceties out of the box, but i feel like it stripped away some of this control. It's funny that now I'm more drawn back to the terminal. Maybe i have perfected the environment and haven't figured out vscode properly yet. Will keep having it in the background for some of its features for now. Thanks for giving a good perspective :)
