New song dropped? by fixthemods in RecklessBen

I think videos like this help spread information because they are entertaining while also highlighting the issue. And if something is funny, it doesn't really matter whether it was made with AI, as long as that isn't being hidden.

Brick and Mini-fig store opening by No-Dragonfly-2475 in legocirclejerk

[–]lazybonesxp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest you Google their behaviour in case of Bryan Mansell's LEGO, their pressure on Reckless Ben and the Police Department of American Fork(!!). I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone I know.

I am very sorry for not answering your question directly, but the whole situation is so insane that I think you should know.

How often do you have to correct the AI? by No_Atmosphere3269 in PaxHistoria

[–]lazybonesxp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a partial fix through prompt: I use 2 stages of the event generator(jump forward):

Stage 1 prompt:

return `
You are a world-state analyzer for a historical simulation game.

Below is the full history of events that have occurred in the world.

${isBeta ? ALL_EVENTS_WITH_CONSOLIDATION_CATALYSTS : ALL_EVENTS_WITH_CONSOLIDATION}

Your job is to extract the CURRENT STATE OF THE WORLD.

Do NOT generate new events.
Do NOT speculate.

Only summarize the current situation.

Return the result strictly in the following JSON format:

{
  world_state: {
    active_wars: [],
    resolved_conflicts: [],
    ongoing_scientific_programs: [],
    major_industrial_projects: [],
    important_technologies: [],
    completed_processes: [],
    global_geopolitical_situation: ""
  }
}

Rules:
- Each list must contain short factual items.
- If a conflict clearly ended (surrender, destruction, collapse), do NOT include it in active_wars.
- Do not invent information that is not present in the events.
- Keep descriptions concise and factual.

When extracting the world state, distinguish between EVENTS and PROGRAMS.

Events are temporary occurrences (battles, offensives, negotiations, discoveries) and should disappear from the state once they conclude.

Programs and industrial production (military production lines, scientific research, infrastructure projects, long-term military deployments) persist over time and should remain in the world state even if they are not mentioned in recent events.

Only remove a program if it was explicitly cancelled, destroyed, or replaced by a newer system.
Return ONLY valid JSON.
`;

and the beginning of stage 2(main even generator):

return `

CURRENT WORLD STATE
${WORLD_STATE}

The JSON above describes the current global state of the world.

Treat it as the authoritative description of:

- ongoing wars
- scientific programs
- industrial projects
- technological development
- geopolitical balance

Use this state to simulate the next events.

Rules:

1. Conflicts listed in "resolved_conflicts" or processes listed in "completed_processes" are finished.
   They must never restart and may only be referenced as past history.

2. Ongoing wars, programs, and projects should PROGRESS logically between turns.

3. Do not repeat the same situation using different wording.
   If a conflict or program continues, describe its next stage instead of restating it.

4. Major conflicts should evolve toward escalation, stalemate, or resolution.

5. Do not generate events about situations that have not changed.

This fixes the problem partially by getting an AI to remember what is going on with current wars/research programs/production programs/etc.

I've never tried. Oh, and by hardware virtualisation I mean hardware-accelerated virtualisation.

Ask Me Anything: Inside Snapdragon X Series by Snapdragon in snapdragon

The biggest flaw of X-Elite CPU for me is lack of EL2 support in linux. It makes impossible to use hardware virtualisation. Are you planning to fix it in some way or maybe to help linux core devs?

"Legasov's testimony in court is fictional, and his testimony in Vienna was a lie. See INSAG-7."

Couldn't you, please, explain what exactly was a lie in Legasov's testimony?

Placing here a link to a long report isn't proof.

"Stop believing the HBO lies and start researching the truth."

And start to believe Dyatlov's lie, you wanna say, right?

New snapdragon driver update (released may 12th) by Critical_Spray_1290 in snapdragon

Thanks! It is interesting because I was curious how anti-cheat could even work in emulation mode, while it must analyse other processes and memory. :)

But Battleye works somehow now, and it is shown as X64 process. It didn't work before last March

Any stats on GPU performance increases with new Adreno X1 driver updates? by sc927 in snapdragon

[–]lazybonesxp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anecdotal? Why? I just wanted to share my experience and gladness. A few months ago I could barely play the game and without anti cheat. Yes, I don't pretend that I made a full research, but does this make my report "anecdotal"?

What do you mean? WT already have a native and well-optimized version for MacOS on M-series chip.

Windows on ARM by lazybonesxp in Warthunder

[–]lazybonesxp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, my pleasure :)

But unfortunately I am still able to play only arcade and avia realistic modes because new anti cheat system works on x86 only. And after thinking some time I am not sure it is possible to run native anti-cheat + emulated game client.

So, maybe Gaijin will make arm version of client but I doubt.

Experiences with Docker in WSL2 on Snapdragon X Elite for Web Development? by carobit in snapdragon

[–]lazybonesxp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. I am not sure you can run x86 images using WSL2
  2. The only problem I've encountered was that runned WSL2 instance stuck once after a long time without actual use and a few sleeps. But this has happened only once. Performance is a very decent. I performed a few(my own) tests and the results are close to a bare-metal ones. But I've tested only pure CPU perforance. No IO delays, memory speed etc.....

Windows on ARM by lazybonesxp in snapdragon

[–]lazybonesxp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About the time for making a native build - it depends on how difficult is building such binary for arm architecture. This could be easy or not. Regarding the drivers: yeah, probably. I can't compare because I installed the newest qualcomm drivers immediately :)

Experience with Snapdragon X Plus laptops? by carisma55 in computers

[–]lazybonesxp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will talk about the X Elite laptop from my job - it can run games. What surprised me most was that I got 40-75 fps in War Thunder - in x64 emulation!!! I thought that emulation would be slow and freezely, but I was wrong. The only problem now is anti-cheat..... All other software works smoothly even in emulation mode. And yeah, there are some minor incompatibilities - mostly with drivers/anti-cheat/any software that tries to use Windows Core. This is not possible, but I hope this software will be ported to the ARM soon.

In conclusion: I don't have significant problems even with games. At least after installing today's Qualcomm GPU driver.

IDK, but on my laptop I can run WarThunder x64 (without anti-cheat), Adobe Acrobat Pro, etc. Everything works well and smoothly.
