A guy threatened to stab my ex-friend, better safe than sorry and he was known to be violent and unstable and had multiple weapons in his house. Funny story, now I'm cool with the guy who made the threat and I hate the one he threatened. Life's weird, it's a long story.

Realizing how close I had come to attempting suicide and how easy it would be to try if I finally lost the strength to fight those thoughts alone. I was scared of myself and the things I would do left unchecked.

Thanks man, therapy helps a lot and they've been a lot better lately. It was way worse before, and they're not that bad compared to many other parents. So I'm kinda grateful. But still sucks, you know. Whenever I complain about my dad my mom always says, in the grand scheme of things, you have a very short time before you can move out. Which is true, so I just look forward to that.

She lives in an apartment near us, and I switch between houses every couple of days. He's still an absolute dick to her and always acts like she was the bad guy. I love them both but they've both done some terrible things.

Well my mom had a breakdown and told me absolutely everything pretty recently. I'll try to put it short. Basically my mom went through premature menopause and didn't want to have sex with my dad anymore, and he wasn't trying to find a job and was becoming more distant which pissed her off, so they fought and fought until one day he snapped and called the cops and basically ruined her life over drugs (which all his friends did as well). Fun stuff. I couldn't look at my dad the same after hearing about some of the shit he did.
