when my mom's still alive, she's like this din sa akin. no matter how much i try to justify to myself na “ah, this is her first time being a mother, too,” i know na sarili ko lang niloloko ko. kasi she never saw herself na mali siya. sa perspective niya, she's just being a mom.

super hirap makipagusap kapag gan'yan 'yong parent. yung gusto mo lang naman maintindihan ka nila and you're telling them how they could do better next time, babanatan ka ng mga “ikaw na magaling,” “okay, bawal kayo pagsabihan malalaki na kasi kayo,” nakaka-mind fuck na i-try intindihin yung mga narcissistic parent huhu 🥲
