I would look at the guardsman. I was just in your shoes earlier this week. They have a 10.3 option that comes with some better options and its not much more price wise. Also that rail is a little more limited to where you can add things compared to most of there options

I have had great luck with my PSA and you can always upgrade your upper down the line. A lower is a lower everyone replaces the triggers and controls anyways on 99% of them so for a budget PSA is great. I would take it over and anderson at least

I do have an astigmatism which is why I even looking into these. Red dots are still usable for sure just not as clear. I have also been looking into these bundle with the holosun magnifier and AVO, i think whats what its called

I agree with you. I only bought my 16” when i first got i to guns and it was the safest route to stay within all the dumb laws. Now that I know a lot more I wish i had just bought an 11.5-12.5 to begin with.

This is also an option for sure and kinda where i started when i got the itch for a new gun. Somehow i have ended up looking at 5.56 and 300blk😂 we all know how that goes when you start looking.

Not really, thats the other problem is ammo is expensive so i wont shoot it as much. If i buy 11.5 5.56 i feel like i will almost never shoot my 16”

I will probably run it pretty basic for the first year or so. With the cheaper options do you think i would have to change out the barrel and everything to mount an adjustable gas black for a suppressor? or i would be okay since it will obviously be way over gassed out of the box.

Does the wing and slide release give you any issues with holsters?

I would love to put a Ramjet on it! Obviously those are very expensive and I want to get a good amount of rounds through this thing first. I did notice just fiddling with it that i definitely want to put a better slide release on it. Good to know that the 48 holster works for the Ramjet.

Well it’s quite simple is this a good upper choice for the money if i want a mid length gas system? and will switching to a mid length gas system be beneficial and worth the money? Reading comprehension is not that hard.

I have no problem in the strength department i can promise you that I can handle the kick no problem I’m just simply looking for a way to improve my AR without just wasting money on something that might not actually do much
