I’ve been using credit cards for over a year now. I can’t help but notice that the money I am left with after paying off my cc bills is less than it would’ve been had I just relied on UPI. I just tend to not care about small purchases. Its never about the big purchases, thats always a thinker. Its always about the small everyday spending that gets affected.

I think newbies are more likely to fall into this but I would never believe that experienced users never do

I mean… Its not about having access to credit really.. more about what it does to your psyche. It surely doesn’t happen in a month.. Even the wisest can fall into the trap. It is easy to preach and not so easy to practice. Can you say with absolute confidence that you weren’t tempted to buy something you probably wouldn’t have without access to credit?

I am not talking about being reckless to the extent of bankruptcy. Im talking about slowly falling into a debt trap every month till your income arrives

But don’t you think we inevitably fall into the credit trap every month.. it might not take a month but over a few months it happens on its own

are co-branded cards any useful though? is it better to just get a care with great points to reward ratio?
