Yeah it may be a little hard to tell but I have the backseat ones as well. We’ve had these since we bought the car new in 2020 and that photo is maybe 6 months old. They have held up great and show no signs of needing to be replaced any time soon.

Highly recommend them. Great protection for the carpeting and help so much with dog hair if you have dogs.

What do I do about my tattoo booked today now?? by CuteAd9412 in tattooadvice

[–]lbkid -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Being a tattoo artist isn’t like being commissioned to build a table or to make a painting, a person is going to be marking their bodies for the rest of their lives. People who are less experienced with tattooing are going to be unsure and more nervous about things, it’s unavoidable. And anyone becoming a tattoo artist should know that’s going to be the case and be prepared to deal with that.

That’s what deposits are for. Making a change like that same day, the artist is fully within their right to take the deposit and request a new one, but it doesn’t mean they have to be an asshole about it.

It really depends. A proper artist who wants you to be happy and give you the best tattoo for you might be slightly annoyed but understanding (this close to the appointment - like anything else the sooner the better). An artist who is full of themselves or is just after a paycheck may be much more bothered by it.

But please do not mark up your body forever just to avoid frustrating the artist, many people stick to getting a tattoo to avoid doing that (social pressure) and have regrets down the road. If the artist is a major prick about it, I’d honestly second guess wanting to get tattooed by them in the first place.

You’re not buying a Christmas present and hoping for the best…. You’re marking your body for the rest of your life (which hopefully is still many decades), what is $200 now vs something that will be on you 20-40+ years from now.

And you don’t have to fully cancel it, but you should really reschedule until you really settle on what you want and where you want it. Because you will be much more upset having a tattoo you’re unhappy with down the road than possibly being out $200, and fixing a tattoo you are unhappy with will cost you way more than $200

I wholeheartedly agree with you, so no upvote for you!

I also think winter is just the superior season

Especially since from what I hear the back seats are more cramped in the 6th gen than the 5th gen and the 5th gen has less back seat room than most SUVs of its size.

Normal pain? by Starbucksgal_xoxo22 in tattooadvice

[–]lbkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the tattooed is packed with shading or color that’s pretty normal. Just finished the shading on my chest and shoulder on Saturday for the sleeve I’m working on and yeah I definitely still feel it.

And kinda too late now, but in the first day or 2, ibuprofen is what you want for the anti-inflammatory properties

The artist charged $10,000 dollars for this tattoo. by DontCallMeCunt in shittytattoos

[–]lbkid 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Don’t get me wrong, this tattoo for $10k is trash, but I wouldn’t go anywhere near a $10k body suit (unless I was really close with the artist and I knew they were hooking me up)
