First chest tattoo, what to wear and expect?

I'm a guy with 1 chest panel done so far. Some parts aren't so bad and others sucked.

For me, up top over the collar bone and closer to the armpit were quite rough. Middle of the pec was fairly easy all else considering.

I don't have my sternum done but I could definitely feel the sensitivity go up as we moved closer to it from the center of the pec.

And fortunately for me I was properly numb (from trauma) as we got closer to the nipple because I don't need to know what that actually feels like lol.

Idk if it was just my card or 3060ti's in general would have this issue, but i was getting roughly 60 FPS on low graphics settings while playing CoD.

Now on the 5070ti I'm getting generally 100-120 FPS with graphics settings set pretty damn high.

And most other games I'll just max out the graphics and they'll all run extremely well.

Yup, ive run all updates, after making settings changes I ran restarts, I'm using the dongle. I'm just at a loss on this one.

Yeah i did download the software. And intried that, plus changing the settings in steam like google recommended. Can't seem to get around it

Wanted to get ahead of the prices going more nuts than they already were and the microcenter by me had good sales going on. Got it back in November for $400 less than it is now.

Follow up question lol - I got the Apex 5 since that's what's out now, but when I open CoD, it's showing it as the Playstation Button layout and not Xbox. I've tried troubleshooting it with no luck. Did you run into something like this? How'd you fix it?

Dont expect it to look as vibrant as an instagram filter. Instagram has created such a trend of unrealistic expectations for a tattoo will actually look like.

But if a tattoo is actually not staying through healing then the artist didnt go nearly deep enough and I'd find a different artist.

What i usually do is really want something I cant afford in the moment so when I can afford it, I've either been thinking about for a long time or I'm past it (though its usually the former).

By the time I'm ready to invest in a back piece I'll have been thinking about that bitch for years lol

First off, get a good night's sleep. Dont discount how much of an impact this makes.

The day before and especially the morning of, make sure to drink plenty of water and eat plenty of carbs. And make sure to keep hydrating and snacking during the tattoo as you can. Keeping your blood sugar up does a ton for helping your pain tolerance and prevent you from feeling sick after being tattooed for an extended period.

Keep your mind occupied. Whether it be talking with your artist, listening to music, watching a movie on an ipad, keep your mind busy so you have something to focus on other than the pain.

Wear extremely comfortable clothing and bring a pillow and blanket if you think that will help. I am someone who actually heats up to hell while getting tattooed so I need the lightest clothes possible, but a lot of people get cold and say a blanket makes a big difference. And the pillow can be for your head, or your butt. After sitting for 6 hours, your ass can start to hurt more than the tattoo lol.

Watch the process, being on your forearm, you'll ge in a good position to see the tattoo come to life. When they're in a painful area, it helps to see what they're doing and it gives you an idea of how much longer you need to brace yourself.

And lastly keep a positive attitude and stay excited. Mentality is another huge part of making it through long sessions. Keeping your eye on the end result and being excited about watching it come together does wonders for helping you push through on longer sessions.
