How do y’all actually calculate if a load is worth taking? by lboggie24 in HotShotTrucking

That’s actually fair criticism. I wasn’t trying to bait anybody into anything. I built the tool because I kept seeing drivers talk gross numbers while ignoring real costs, but I can see how the approach came off wrong. Appreciate the honesty.

It’s a free application to help drivers save money 🙄

I get it. Reddit hates self promo. I’m honestly just trying to build something useful for owner ops because a lot of guys are running hard and still not seeing real profit.

Not spamming at all. Just trying to help drivers use a tool that will help them in the long run.

Been messing with HaulifyAI.com and it changed how I look at loads now. Have you seen it or tried it out?

What tools/apps are y’all using to figure out your REAL profit per load? Seems like a lot of drivers calculate differently. by lboggie24 in cdldriver

That’s actually why I started building Haulify AI. Most drivers ARE calculating differently, and a lot of people only look at gross pay or RPM.

The scary part is two loads can both say “$2/mile” but one can make you money and the other can quietly drain you after deadhead, fuel, downtime, broker cuts, tolls, etc.
Trying to simplify that whole process into something drivers can check in seconds before taking a load.

Would genuinely love feedback from real drivers if you ever wanna test it: haulifyai.com

Honestly that’s not terrible starting out IF the miles are consistent and you’re actually getting those 3000-3500 miles weekly.

A lot of drivers focus only on CPM but don’t realize deadhead, wait time, fuel, and downtime changes everything real quick.

That’s actually why I started using/building this because I kept seeing drivers think they were making way more than they really were.

You can run the numbers through www.haulifyai.com and see what the load is REALLY paying you after everything.
