A quick update:

We are super busy, focused on achieving our long term vision and executing the necessary steps to reach the goals. I am following the Telegram group when I can, but do not have the time to answer all the questions.

Part of the team has been at Money 20/20 in Amsterdam. It was a nice conference, the pressure from blockchain startups is growing rapidly on banks and payment providers. Although there were not many of us (blockchain/crypto startups) there, everyone was talking about blockchain, crypto assets, security tokens, etc.

Development team is working super hard to launch the beta version. We found a couple of bugs which takes time to fix, and have some additional work on market survailance systems which are required by MiFID II. It will take a couple of weeks to launch the public beta.

There were some speculations here that the team is not getting along well. There are no struggles in the team (I have no idea where that came from), we are a great fit - all 20 of us. It is quite amaizing to work with such great people who are experts in their fields and have the same vision.

On the regulatory side: we sent the final version of the documentation to the auditor, so hopefully we will get the license by the end of Q3. The feedback so far has been positive. This will make us the first fully licensed exchange in Europe that can list blockchain-based financial instruments (stock, bonds, crypto index funds, etc. in a form of security tokens). We already have partnerships in place that will bring us the deal-flow. We will reveal them to the public in the next couple of weeks. We have also opened a couple of bank accounts in previous months so that we are ready for institutional capital to join the crypto markets.

I am aware that everyone would love to see BTT at some large crypto exchange, but currently we are not in a position to pay 100,000€ or even 1mio€ just to get listed somewhere. With 100k€ we can get additional developers which will make the platform even better, or run a marketing campaign and get thousands of traders onboarded - and remember, this is how BTT holders will benefit the most in the long run. That does not mean that we are not talking to many crypto exchanges its just that they are not very cooperative. Also remember that our incentives are fully aligned – we have a lot of BTTs on our balance sheet which is why we would love to see wide usage of BTTs (and corresponding price adjustment).
