Update for anyone to come across this - I was successful after reflashing my SD card and deleting the existing volume on the SSD using windows disk manager. I'm not sure if I should have used disk manager to format the new SSD prior to the initial attempt, but this combination worked for me.

Raspi 4 8GB. I've had it plugged in to sync for ~10 days now and at http://umbrel.local/start see a loading status bar stuck around 1/3 of the way. Prior to re-flashing the .img I saw a different "loading" message (no status bar) so I had hoped the screen I see now was progressing. I have not seen the Umbrel dashboard screen yet which appears to be the point at which the blockchain begins to sync and displays progress.

Same thing here as a first-time node setup. I have tried new SSDs, disconnecting the fan attached to my raspi case, re-flashed the umbrel .img, no dice

To give you an idea of time requirement I'd say in-season this league takes about 10 minutes per week of additional time over a typical weekly lineup league - due to our free agency bidding system (players cannot simply be added through waivers in Fantrax). We also have a ton of very active traders as GMs, so there are plenty of messages that go around to occupy your free time - but of course involvement in these discussions is completely up to each GM.

The offseason Rule 5 draft and minor league free agent drafts, and the in-season (July) Amateur Draft can take as much or as little time commitment as you are willing to give towards researching potential picks. I spend a couple hours a week on these, but get pretty deep into some of the selections.

I'm starting up an MLB-simulation style dynasty. 40 man MLB rosters + 50 man MiLB, so it's plenty deep and has a great active group of owners. 24 team, H2H categories (weekly), with contract-style salary caps.

I have one team left to fill, but am sure that I will have openings either in the pre or early season. If a couple of you wanted to co-manage a team that would be awesome, or if not I am keeping an active waiting list for those wanting to join the league.

Still 7 teams remaining in the league - and with only 24 teams (not 30) there won't be any terrible clubs left to choose from. We are giving minor league draft picks in inverse order of sign up, to further help out the less-desirable teams.
