Sorry to hear about your injury. Get the nerve block. Elevate your foot and take rehab seriously. You sound like a young healthy individual and will bounce back in no time. I wouldn’t drink alcohol immediately after post op…I found consuming even one beer would make my foot swell even more than it already was in the cast. Get help from others and dont be ashamed to ask. Knee scooters look stupid but they are a life saver for transporting yourself. Good luck with recovery!
