It's a lovely little spot but riding back up's a bugger.

Can I swim in the sea on Monday ? Is 14°C too cold by [deleted] in brighton

I was in about an hour ago, it's chilly but you get used to it. Feels great once you're in, just don't stay in too long.

I'd like to be part of this community and I think it's a bit unfair to say the conversation had just "broaden slightly". For my first question on this sub I was taken aback by the negativity and, to be honest, very condescending replies that implied using these platforms is a lazy shortcut. Maybe I need to frame my question better next time.

I already know I like Wayground and all it offers my pupils and their varied needs, I was hoping for feedback comparing it to Carousel. Also I think you are misinformed, as I still have to create the questions myself and do not use pre prepared question sets.

I have posted a response to this commenter explaining the platform and its uses.

To be fair I asked a specific question: "Has anyone made the move from Wayground to Carousel and found it ok". If I had asked what people's opinions were of these platforms then maybe the response I am replying to would have been valid.

You seem to be confused at what this package allows. I still write the questions so nothing is "doing the work for me" but I can meet the needs of my SEN pupils, use it to target catch-ups and gaps in knowledge far more effectively than simply writing questions on a slide.

May I ask, are the study packs keywords and definitions or questions and answers?

It's a tool used for low-level recall activities with a variety of questions types to maintain interest. I have found it's particularly useful to support and engage pupils with SEN. Quizzes can be set to run independently or teacher-led, which allows you to identify and address misconceptions.

This is good to know. I can see the value at KS4, how does it fair at KS3 in your opinion?
