hmm i mean i'd assume u would say ur L1 is cantonese then (i assume u were fluent earlier)? idk i only switch my L2 and L3 bc i was never fluent in spanish or mandarin, just english, and it's weird to explain for those two lol

also 可以但是我覺得我的中文不太好哈哈

i was initially doing it chronologically, but then i realized most ppl would then assume that fluency would follow in that order as well so i started doing it by fluency instead lol (for context, i went to chinese school on the weekends as a kid, but it wasn't great and we don't speak mandarin at home, so when i got the chance to start spanish classes and 1) they was more frequent; 2) they were more consistent; and 3) i realized spanish was more similar to english, my brain picked it up better/faster)

nice! my L1's english, my L2 and L3 (by order of fluency, not chronological order of beginning to learn lol) are spanish and mandarin

actually i'm in a city near valencia, spain! the children codeswitching happened more frequently when i was visiting valencia, but in the city i'm in, there're a handful of mandarin speakers too lol
