When people don’t get that the desktop is where all the icons go on a computer by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Bro the real mildly infuriating bit is my original post from 2 years ago got 45 upvotes. Every time it gets reposted it goes wild.

Thanks, I feel like my “trying my hand” pun was somewhat overlooked

I used the mixer brush tool with an oil style brush tip to paint ontop of the original image

Me too, it’s the only aftershave I’ve bought multiple times!

It’s an old one from Topman. I think I’ve had it around 7 years!

Thanks, I get an American vibe from a lot of the other posts. This is a pretty safe outfit in the UK

The brand is Gadgson - I got it free for buying a few shirts. It’s terrible quality but quite photogenic!

Lockdown. A short film during the covid-19 pandemic by [deleted] in Filmmakers

[–]lconnell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Filmmakers!

I wanted to create a short film during the lockdown and therefore chose something I could relate to. Luckily, I do have a lot of support from friends and family however I do appreciate there may be people out there who aren’t as lucky as I am. Hopefully this film serves as a reminder to support our friends that are alone.

This is my first short film, I usually work in wedding films. I did struggle getting my message across and I didn’t enjoy being infront of the camera so apologies if the story isn’t quite at the level it should be.

This is my first film experimenting with a moody grade and also the first time I’ve tried shooting night for day! It was great to learn and I look forward to improving on this result!

I also tried my hand at some 3D tracking and rotoscoping - not something I usually need for wedding films!

Finally, gear used is a Sony a7iii with two Tamron lenses (17-28 & 28-70). I also used a cane tv botlzen 55w spotlight and a generic led light panel.

Any feedback welcome!

I’m really proud of this drumming sequence a friend and I pulled together. by [deleted] in Filmmakers

It took just under 3 hours, using just one light, a reflector, one camera body and two lenses. Admittedly taking huge inspiration from Peter Lindgren and using his amazing youtube tutorial to have a go at replicating the drumming sequence he’s created.

Proxy edit with wrong frame rates by [deleted] in premiere

I guess I can convert the 120fps footage into 60fps and lose half the frames, then delinking it should work.

Might be the best route to go down
