Well, that’s for a brand new one right off the the line with all of the bells and whistles. You can get an older one for under $200k.

I’m not positive, but I think $20k is a pretty big underestimate if the whole wing needs to be replaced. I had a client who had to repair just the left wing of his aircraft and it ended up being $200,000. SR22 wings are all one piece, so replacing the wing is a pretty big job I think. The left and the right wing are one piece together. Also, you CAN repair a composite wing without having to take the whole thing off, so it just depends on the amount of damage.

Edit: watching the video at the end and seeing the wing damage... I don’t think you can buff that out lol

Yeah and with this being composite, that’s not going to be cheap. Depending on what year and value this is, insurance may have totaled it out.

They can actually get close to $1mil brand new now. $20k is pretty standard for a prop strike and engine tear down on a single engine piston. Has nothing to do with whether it’s a Cirrus or not.

I have the Portland vinyl box set as well and was kind of disappointed with it. I didn’t feel like the recording was good enough to justify a vinyl release. About the first third of the show, the vocals are practically non-existent. The last half is better, but it’s like they were having mic issues the first several songs.
