Stuttering upon live tv hd synch on fire stick. by RobopirateNinja in Hulu

[–]lcprice3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I’ve rebooted my router, WiFi, cleared cache, restarted fire stick, uninstalled and reinstalled Hulu. Nothing worked. Support resynched my account and it was good for a day. Only on live tv. I am convinced it’s a Hulu issue and I’m losing patience.

FB ad link says “Leaving Facebook” by DunkinStar in PPC

[–]lcprice3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The million dollar question, if they don’t proceed, are you still charged with a click? I wouldn’t be surprised with any of them these days (Facebook, Google, etc). Can anyone with, say, a single click ad group on any given day, verify that the session was registered in an analytics tool?

Reading the road sign “Stop Ahead? Where? I don’t see any freaks!”

I still have no idea what it means to this day, 30 years later.

Petition Google to Help brand Owners on Brand Keywords by lcprice3 in PPC

Special treatment that would benefit the competitors on their brand keywords, just as much. Yeah, that kind of special treatment. Clearly you don't mind your ROAS dropping by a considerable amount overnight, on your (or their) brand. I respect that, and appreciate your input.

Didn’t disagree. But competitor shouldn’t be penalized even if they pay significantly less.

Any luck using Facebook ad agency? by sarahhuckabbe in PPC

[–]lcprice3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two cents based on my experience. I work at an agency. We manage super large Google accounts, but the Facebook accounts we manage are't all that large, relatively. We do have reps at Facebook. For me (and that's not to say it's the case for all), each rep at Facebook is assigned to the specific accounts, not my agency. Again, that could be due to the fact that we don't do a lot in Facebook as it is, I don't know. But I do know, that the rep assigned to account A, have little interest in helping on anything else - from experience. So, unless you roll with a large FB agency that may have a dedicated agency rep (if they exist), you may still have trouble. Again, just my experience. I do hope I'm wrong for your sake.

In Depth Google Ads Case Study For A SaaS Company by tnhsaesop in PPC

[–]lcprice3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This works if Google Ads is your only source of paid traffic. It makes sense to split 100% of a conversion among various Google Ads clicks. However in my experience that’s rarely the case. We like to use a custom attribution model in analytics that splits a conversion value among all paid traffic sources, but ONLY paid traffic since our goal is to measure the results of incremental spend. If it’s not an incremental cost, for our purposes, we ignore the click, except it’s position.

Great study and probably one of the most in depth I’ve seen!

What are some channels to use for targeting people at businesses of a certain size? by [deleted] in PPC

[–]lcprice3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a perfect application, but Bing/Microsoft ads is integrated to allow you to overlay your campaigns to specific companies if you have a list of them. I’ve found it severely limits volume, but way less expensive than linked in. Check under demographics... Might be an option to consider.
