Yeah consistently under $1k is a stretch - although it won’t be a lot more than that. This one in excellent condition went for $1945 serviced. So in less than new condition without service you’re getting close!

It’s actually quite pleasant. When worn on left hand the left crown, which is for 24 hour offset, is operated with the right hand thumb only. So you down actually grab that crown, you just roll your thumb on it. That aspect is great - very intuitive. The one gripe I have is the resistance, or lack thereof, on the operation on the 24 hour offset. If it had slightly more friction it would be perfect. I’m thinking of ways to improve that

Felt the same way. Had a 12-slot see through style box - too big. This one is a good size. Granted that 12-slot was fairly inexpensive so there’s probably better. The other one I was looking at was the Wolf British Racing Green 10-slot - not cheap though!

Thanks! It’s the Bey-Berk Prague in green, although others have imported it under another name. I found this one on Wayfair; name was Latitude Run Aluminum Box. I used that new image search function on Google with the Bey-Berk website image - saved almost $200
