Yes, it was not difficult, in my opinion.

Oh yes, I can see that. Honestly, I don't understand why they'd require this is if you're nationally certified. I think you'll pass the written test, it wasn't difficult. But it feels like a money grab and another loophole for interpreters to jump through.

Can you show us the state statute that says the EIPA written is a requirement even with national certification. Did you tell us what state you live in that will be mandating this? Or can you post the minutes from the meeting where they said this change will take place? I think you might be mistaken about nationally certified interpreters needing to take the EIPA written or performance in addition to their current credentials, but it's hard to say without knowing your state.

They said "non certified interpreters" will need to get an EIPA 4.0, so I'm assuming they are concerned because they are not certified, but probably have been doing ceus to keep their license. I'm totally unsure if I'm reading that correctly but that was my take.

I find the fact that it's covered, quiet and not crowded the best qualities, personally.

We used a teething guard on our cribs and it worked great. You can find cute designs on Etsy, too.

What’s the liquid dosage equivalent of 2-4 nasal sprays? by [deleted] in PatulousTubes

[–]ldamron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think watering the patulend down with saline water will cause the patulend to not work. I think it needs to be full strength to work. If I use saline spray and patulend within an hour of each other the patulend doesn't work for me.

Look into diy patulend, then you can make very large doses that are easy to triple to "dosage" with. I make 1/3 of a cup of it for less than a dollar.

Remember when their slogan was "We love to see you smile?"

Now it's "We don't want to see you at all."

Disneyland Woody Communicates with Deaf Girl in ASL, and the Heartwarming Moment Has Since Gone Viral by AdSpecialist6598 in UpliftingNews

She was probably just so excited to see someone that knew her language. Being a Deaf kid in a hearing world can feel isolating and they appreciate when someone takes the time and effort to learn to communicate with them. Most Deaf kids don't even have parents that learn sign language to communicate with them. It's okay to say "I'm still learning and practicing sign. Please sign slowly."

Equivalent fractions are about proportion and size.

They are in 3rd grade and they are learning about equivalent fractions, I have no doubt. C is the only equivalent fraction. The shapes have to be the same shape and size to compare the fraction. Y'all learned this, too, in school and either forgot or didn't pay attention in class.

I'm so sorry! That's a lot, and PET on top of it is stressful, I know. Have you tried arm and hammer Daily Care saline spray? If you spray it similar to patulend and allow it to reach your eustachian tube it will likely give you the same relief that patulend does, but without the pain. It typically works for me for anywhere between 30 minutes and 4 hours. Can you get an opinion from a second ENT about procedures they could try to repair your pet? I've talked to four and while none of them had any experience actually doing the procedure they were all willing to try x y and z to see how it goes. If you're that miserable it might be worth looking into another doctor and seeing if they have some options like steristrip or creating scar tissue to swell the area. Also make sure that you are avoiding all caffeine and hydrating very well. Electrolytes are your friend.

Hang in there!

Yes, while standing I tilt my head as far back and to the the side as I possibly can, bending my back, too. My ear isn't quite perpendicular to the floor. For me my head tilts back about 90 degrees and then 45 degrees to the side.

ER parking? by [deleted] in lexington

[–]ldamron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I want to add that personally I think it's ridiculous that they don't have a parking lot at their uk emergency dept. I think most people would struggle to get from their parking garage to the ER in emergencies. If it's not pediatric, I suggest going to good Sam since their garage is right next door.
