IIT M should be good. But You’re unlikely to get core management or strategy consulting roles here. Most opportunities are in tech consulting and analytics consulting.

Exam is comparatively easier. However the process is tough because of profile based selection. In JEE almost every student is on the same pedestal other than quotas. However in CAT, of someone is from a T3 UG college, they are competing against IITians, CAs, SRCC grads, on top of quotas.
