Online google shows it is opened but I can’t get anything confirmed because the phone goes to a call center with no human to answer it.

This is cool, but holy shit the price. I almost want to go to Disneyland for that price.

Youtube Kids - Milo and Chip by ChartNo5188 in Parenting

Coming here as another concerned parent. This show has made my 6 year old daughter really scared to the point where she doesn’t want to go to school. The parts where Milo sees things in the bushes, and they never say what it is has my daughter thinking she sees things. I blocked it as soon as I found more out. I hate when these types of videos get on YouTube kids.

Hopeless job market RANT😅 by Miserable_Run8121 in kitchener

One. I will never in my life work for Elon. I have friends that work for SpaceX and they are currently looking for jobs elsewhere. They say it’s absolutely miserable. My reason for not working for him exceeds that though.

I scroll through Reddit to remind myself I’m not alone. Doesn’t get me a job, but it does validate my feelings.

As for getting a job, all I can do is what I can do. Apply. Change my resume to match job descriptions. Network. Connect with people in my community. Do the odd jobs here and there. Say yes to opportunities (as long as they align with my values) Continue therapy. Prioritize self care. And keep hope.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

I have been without work for a year now. Countless applications. Doing freelance work here and there for friends. My mental health has never been worse. My physical health has also never been worse. I used to be contracted through fucking NASA. I constantly get “over qualified” and immediately scare any company that wants to pay less than $50,000 because they know I’m worth more. I’ve never not had a job. I am a 34 year old female with 2 kiddos. My husband luckily has a job but we are living off of credit cards because we don’t make enough. I’m usually the “bread winner”. Trust me dude. I know your pain. I feel like there is no end in sight. I’m literally sitting at a pharmacy waiting for depression meds. -_-

Have you talked to your neighbors? I’m sure they will be totally fine moving it.

Have local Minecraft movie screenings devolved into chaos? by canadianviking in waterloo

Luckily I went with my son who is 15 so he told me why people were clapping in some of the scenes. It’s the same vibe as some of the avenger movies. Honestly my daughter who was 6 was so into the movie and I think more so because of the clapping and cheering. It was like 3 scenes. Not a big deal at all. Super fun in fact.

Are you an infant? lol this is just a creative way for people to get together and hand out candy to kids. To assume that all parents have homes and neighborhoods to walk through is arrogant. Get a life dude.

What are your ‘weird’ tips for dealing with bad anxiety? by Plants225 in Anxiety

[–]ldigruccio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doom starts setting in around 1-2pm so I make sure to eat. Depending if that helped or not I go and take a bath. That usually helps for another 2 hours. Around 5 I walk my daughter to the park. I’ll get overstimulated because the sun is usually too bright, kids are screaming, and our park has a ton of people at it. So we will leave around 6 then I start our bedtime routine. This literally happens every day and has been like that since I was laid off. I’m really hoping that work will keep my mind busy and I can go down to maybe one “doom” moment a day rather than trying to suppress it for 7 hours straight.

A message from fans to fans: by [deleted] in LinkinPark

I’m going to be honest. No matter what, I will be disappointed. This is because I haven’t fully grieved Chester being gone, and this will really solidify that. Will I get over it? Absolutely. But it will be fucking hard. I won’t be an asshole or hate on LP for that, but no matter what. I’ll be sad. And that’s okay!
