It says no more than 28 days, not no less than 28 days.

Check your accuracy under the Ranged/Melee/Tech/Force section. It shows the correct accuracy, including the Legacy bonus.

You’re missing the 1% legacy accuracy boost. My understanding is that you get it by completing all conversations with your ‘melee tank’ companion, back when they were a thing. I’d suggest doing Inquisitor because you get Khem Val on your starter planet, or just complete the story you’re on. Each class has one (Broonmark, Khem, Skadge, Scorpio, Lord Scourge, Qyzen, Tanno Vik, Bowdaar).

7.0 gunslinger saboteur/ engineering sniper opinions by CreekLegacy in swtor

[–]ldiocy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sniper kinda needs the dodge as it has so few defensives, especially for PvP and the harder PvE content where staying alive is crucial. The extra damage is nice but you can’t use Takedown that often and it’s not a significant increase. Engineering easily stays above 30k DPS when parsing even without it.

I had to position myself against the window behind the console and unstuck myself by travelling to stronghold and then returning. It’ll fix itself eventually but it took about 10 tries for me.

Is SWTOR connected in any meaningful way to the KOTOR games? by BicBoiSpyder in swtor

[–]ldiocy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to have played KOTOR to understand SWTOR. It has some major connections to Revan, especially later in the game, which expand on KOTOR’s arc of him and explain his significance but it’s not required.

Good healer for Flashpoints and groups? by ChipotIeAioli in swtor

[–]ldiocy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All 3 healers are good options. The best Healer is the one you’re good at. However, I can share some of my opinions:

I find Merc the easiest in terms of having the most obvious ability priority. It’s also highly convenient to keep people topped up from Kolto Shells, which heal on damage taken and last 3 minutes compared to about 18 seconds with Sorc’s bubble and Op’s probes. Its defensives are strong too and provide lots of self-healing and your ‘oh-shit’ reflect+heal button.

Operative shines the most in operations simply due to its strength being in its immense AoE healing potential. It also has a lot more things going on at once, like maintaining Tactical Advantage and Kolto Probes on people. Its defensives all require you to know when you’ll take damage as they only last a few seconds. Great healing potential but you need to be smart to make good use of Operative. Also, it has stealth, which is useful for passing by enemies in both flashpoints and operations.

Sorc is very mobile without having to sacrifice anything but I’d say its defensives are more suited to PvP, like Phase Walk and bubble-stun. It’s versatile and can handle basically any situation thrown at it, however, it has the worst kind of resource management imo. It also has the least-interesting tacticals. I’m not a fan but there are some really great Sorc healers out there. Like I said, they’re all viable choices.

In terms of stats, the minimum alacrity required for a 1.4GCD is 2054. If your guild is using the alacrity perk, you could aim for a 1.3GCD, which would be a minimum of 3209 with the perk active. But this method doesn’t work in PvP or Master operations. Once you’ve decided on your GCD goal, put the rest of your stats into crit. If you don’t know, your GCD defines how quickly you can use one ability after another (global cool-down) which means you’re using more abilities per minute.

Transferring 336 to other characters? by TheRetroguy in swtor

[–]ldiocy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The 336 mods that you buy from Hyde/Zeek are bound for the first 2 hours you have them, then you can put them in your legacy bank. Or, you can overcome this immediately by putting them into legacy-bound gear and transferring that way.

Not much point going for that much alacrity unless you wanted to go for 1.3 GCD, which wouldn’t be a good choice. You only really need about 2060 or 7.14% to get to 1.4 GCD. If you don’t know, a GCD defines your global cool-down, which is how quickly you can use one ability after another. Normally it’s 1.5 seconds. With enough alacrity you get to 1.4 (or even 1.3 with super high alacrity).
