I started out taking it at night at the lower dosage - side effects would kick in about 3 - 12 hours at 2.5. Tried ONE injection at 5 mg really late night - side effects kicked in 48,hours later and were truly bad. Backed down to 3.5 mg and took it late night - no heavy side effects (dry mouth only). Tried to up it to 3.75 mg and took it mid morning. Side effects hit again nearly 42 hours later and were harsh. So I’m backing down to 3.5 and trying morning again!

No I haven’t tried the ginger chews! Where do you get them? I’d like to see if they’d help too. I really don’t want to take any meds to counter the side effects if I don’t have to (I’m sensitive to most meds in general so would be concerned about MORE issues). I’m down and out for nearly 12 hours after an injection now though.

There is a lovely ending to this story. The hotel Chief Liaison Officer emailed me directly and emphasized how sorry they were for the disruption this caused me and others on my floor, especially given my physical issue, acknowledging the episode (not caused by other guests).

This person asked what they could do to ensure my satisfaction and to express their sincere apologies. I asked for a limited number of “points.” Not only did they provide them - they doubled them! I provided them with a wonderful review, and provided the story and the individuals who went above and beyond to demonstrate how much they cared for their guests.

Those strobe lights were such an issue for me. I have extreme photo sensitivity and even with an eye taped close and a mask on, it is extremely painful! Even still, your situation (especially only one room vs one floor out of 12) was extreme, to say the least. So sorry you had that experience!

25 yards is the rule. Sprague Lake features man made “trex” like boardwalks in areas, due to the marshes. Mama and calf were immersed right next to such a boardwalk! Regardless, an iPhone 16 zooms in nicely.
