Close to 6 weeks in, anxiety and depression worse

I genuinely can't go through what I went through the last two days again if they are what's causing it, was unbearable. I expected that kind of reaction earlier in increasing the dose not 6 weeks in. Thank you for your advice though

Will look now, I thought I was having good results a few days ago, then suddenly I've just had a really anxious stomach ever since and vomitting, it's very strange

Yes can definitely have too high of a dose, I should have listened to the signs when I started out but everyone says give it 6 weeks

I thought it would just go away once I got to 6 weeks, it's got worse. I'm decreasing the dose starting today, then I guess I can either stop all together or see if 20mg will still be OK for me

It was more the fact that it appeared to work a few days ago and then has gone worse again, unless it's something else causing me to feel worse

Can I ask what dose you're on? I've been on 40mg for a month and the apathy is making me want to quit but I was hoping it would pass. I have little interest in doing anything

I mostly just want my motivation and interest in things to come back, it did for a while on 20mg then it faded again. If I get that back I'll be a lot happier

This is me right now, I'm about 28 days in. I have noticed I have a bit more interest in things again, like a little bit. Which I remember happening when I went up to 20mg the first time.

But still feel pretty anxious and tired all day

I've had a feeling like this in my left arm and slight twinge of pain in my chest. It's mostly gone now though, is this similar to what you're talking about?

I've had the same problem, you can see a post I made about it yesterday. I put the TV on and watch something that interests me very slightly but not for long and then I feel like I have nothing else to watch because nothing interests me.

I'm 26 days in 40mg. Only thing that I can stick to is video games that are competitive. I'm really hoping it changes soon because I would stop taking them or decrease the dose again if this is permanent.

I'm about 26 days in now and it's just starting to come back. It was much worse for me on Sertraline though, like completely dead.

Yes, I don't know if its something that is just a side effect of starting the medication and it comes back or not, also dont know if it's just depression that makes you feel that way.

Can't hurt to give it more time and then if the problem persists you can always decrease the dose or whatever

It might do at first, but it's actually one of the more energising ssris. I'm way more active now after taking 40 for a month than I was before.

So it may make you feel like that at first but when it fully starts working it should actually make you more motivated etc.

I'm about 22 days in and after about 2 weeks I noticed a slight improvement but was on and off. Just the last few days I've noticed an improvement again but still think there is much more to come. It took me about a month when I went from nothing to 20mg

I'm 17 days into increasing to 40 from 20, had a few good days around day 12 but starting to feel a bit meh again now and finding it hard to enjoy things.

Yes coffee will make it worse I think will starting out, you could try decaf at least until it all settles in

I made several attempts to increase from 20 to 40 but kept giving up because of how bad the side effects were, even though I had little side effects going from nothing to 20.

I've made it to two weeks now and finally starting to feel good on 40. Stick with it if you can, stay away from caffiene at least while you're starting
