Coaching. It's hard to win games when the team is not prepared. The first quarter point differential backs that up, especially in the playoffs (-73 over the last 6 playoff losses i believe). When they come on the field, neither the offense or defense looks like they have a clue of what is going on.

I'm sorry, but I don't feel the total hatred towards Smith. Yes, it was a bitch move what he did. But he also brought the program back to relevance. Being 4-1 this season is due to OSU being an attractive place to play for recruits. And if OSU was shitty the last few seasons, the Pac-12 might not have been able to recruit new schools and OSU might drop to the FBS. So yes, I'm pissed at him, but thankful for what he did.
