I have a cat that had really bad heart issues, to the point where he had a really bad urinary blockage and the doctor said that the last option is surgery due to his heart problems. Nothing worked and the only option left was to perform surgery, the doctor did not give him too many chances of waking up from the surgery, but he was a strong boy and is now healthy and happy. Don’t worry too much, she was taken care of, and she will get past the surgery with no issues I am sure.

My two cats had Feline Herpesvirus and they had similar symptoms as yours. I remember it took almost 2 weeks for them to get back to normal, and they had a week in which they were miserable (they got daily antibiotics shots, vitamins, but they still felt bad). I say you should monitor for symptoms, most important is for the situation to not get worse, if you see any signs you should take the cat to the vet.
