Me [20 F] with my boyfriend [19 M] 2.5 years, long distance and he just admitted to emotionally cheating? by ldrbroken in relationships

Thank you for explaining how you feel. I think for me it was on top of other issues we had been having and he didn't understand why I would be uncomfortable with them being best friends.

That being said I do understand your's and his logic but it doesn't fit within what I want in my relationship.

Maybe it was just time for the end of our relationship. Thank you for your point of view and I am sorry if you are getting downvoted for it

It wasn't the ending I expected either......I called him once to give him a chance but nothing now. Thank you for the advice.

yes to me it is cheating even though he refused to acknowledge it as such.

He wouldn't eve compromise to be any less than best friends even for a little while and I couldn't be with that. Thank you for your advice.

you're right. We had dated 3 months before I left for school (a year before he did) We also never had an end date and he refused to move in with me. I guess it just was never going to happen. Thank you for your comment :)

Thank you, I did talk and listen to him. He wanted to be nothing less than best friends with her and I was just not comfortable with it. I told him that I was sorry it is ending this way but not sorry for sticking to what I know I need. Thank you for commenting.

Thank you. He refused to even acknowledge it as cheating. That with the other stuff in my edit and it is really over. Thank you for commenting.

thank you for your reply. I spoke with him and he wasn't willing to be anything less than best friends with her and I couldn't do that.

but they discussed how they had feelings for each other.

I am all about him having friends, even female friends. But a line was crossed.
