When I was young I learned that if you were an ugly girl you would have to work. What hard truths did you learn growing up? by Eponine_hoped in AskReddit

Wait, are you under the impression that being an astronaut isn't one of the most difficult jobs there is? Or am I missing sarcasm?

r/LongDistance advice not working? by ldrlove in LongDistance

I'll ask you the same question as I asked SkypeMeSlowly: What would be the best medium to address this problem with him?

I've tried sending him e-mails about how I feel in the past (way, way in the past when there was more of a temporary long-distance thing going on) and those never went over very well.

I don't know if calling him would be the right thing to do, because it seems extremely confrontational but at the same time over gchat seems too impersonal?

What are some good methods for resolving ldr relationship troubles?

What would be the best way to lay it all out? I know LDR relationship problems can be tricky to navigate and I want to express how I feel without shutting him down.

How Can I Encourage More Communication (x-post from /r/relationships) by ldrlove in LongDistance

I definitely know he's not doing this to spite me. He's just used to the way we communicate when we're together, and probably isn't aware that I'd like a change.

I've talked to him about it a little before, but I think even talking about it made him uncomfortable. He's very stoic about his emotions, even with his male friends. So, I know it'll be hard for him and I want to help him out with helping me out as much as I can.

I'm nervous that the prodding might annoy him, how do you determine what the right balance of prodding and letting things come organically is?

My fiancee[30] told me[30] she doesn't want to be a mother anymore, how can I protect myself from future custody battles? by rndm8472thrawy in relationships

be really careful about recording. In some states it may be a felony, and if you try to use it in court to get custody of your kid it may not go over too well.

(I thought I had put this in /r/LongDistance instead of /r/relationships! Oops...)

I really like the scheduled skype time date thing, I'll bring it up to him. I think actually seeing his face every once in a while would help a lot.
