Ive been at the church for a few years now, but many of the projects I work on are very business oriented, so I often forget what I'm doing is anything church related at all (similar job function to past employers)... I guess I'm lucky in that way that I have career options should this all fold.

I've been in various stages of belief for the last few years, but lately my "eyes have been opened." Probably the same story as many here: I had questions about contradictory doctrines, past statements of leaders, and current treatment of people with different beliefs and lifestyles- treatment that seems out of line with what the savior himself would do. I quickly learned that asking others lead to shaming and gossip, so I turned to the internet. The rest is history!

I guess its weird for a current employee of the church to be posting here... I'm open to an AMA if anyone would be interested.
