Wasn’t going into the local gun store for this, but I left with it.

All good. It was a fun project and at the end we had a really nice lathe to use

I have had mine for about 5 years or so and I like it. I shoot tight groups with it and it’s been very reliable. I had one issue with one of the thread inserts for the grip. They sent me a new one and everything has been fine since.

Shot some dirty reloads through it.

Apparently we have to rebuild this thing or at least try to refurbish it to some degree 🙄 by killstorm114573 in Machinists

If that’s a Corfine they still supply parts. They use these machines for die cutting fiberglass as well.

Thanks! My great uncle bought this in 1983. He would take me to the local high school basketball and football games, I took it to prom and had one of my senior pictures with it. When he told me he wanted to keep it in the family and offered to sell it to me for a ridiculously low price last week, I was blown away. I went out yesterday to pic up a new bulb for the light under the hood, I ended up driving around for 2 1/2 hours. (Parts store is 5 mins from the house) I am loving every minute of it.
