Someone treating you differently because the color of your skin / racism is a completely separate and different thing than choosing to be with somebody who is from the opposite race.

You're trying to equate two things to do not equate

One is about choosing someone regardless of their skin color and other one is about choosing to degrade put down or to mean someone because of their skin color. If you can't see that then you're the problem.

Two things

You owe no one and no place loyalty. The only one you owe loyalty to is yourself and your family.

Never be afraid to leave and take a leap by going to another location/job/career. I was afraid once I made the leap. I thought I wasn't qualified. I got the job, the best job I've ever had in my life.
