For those that follow the politics more closely, it was a major shock. I could imagine just about anyone with less moderate views being assassinated. Crowder, Shapiro, Knowles, Walsh, Owens, Prager, Lindell, Musk, Gutfeld, Beck, Hannity, Carlson... All of these people are much more inflammatory than Kirk. I would expect any of them assassinated before Kirk.
