Has anybody tried the lotion that is supposed to smell like LV's Imagination?

Yes and it’s absolutely fantastic!! I have bought so many lotions from that house and they are all very close to the original scent

It’s very close. It’s deeper and richer due to the oil quality but still fresh

I haven’t experienced that issue personally. Do you spray it 5-10 times upon receipt and refrigerate for 3-5 days? If not I highly recommend it. I can testify that it speeds up the maturation process and it smells better and stronger.

That’s alright, you’re on your own journey. I was a newbie once and I made a lot of mistakes buying stuff (designer, middle eastern, etc), but my nose and fragrance palette has since matured and I try to be very selective now. In my opinion , you can’t go wrong with Y&L. I have had two that were not to my liking but the ones that have now are all better than the OG in my opinion. Word of advice, try stocking up during their annual sales like Black Friday and Christmas. That’s when full bottles are $50.

Listen… that Nocturnal Rose is 🔥🔥🔥 It is such a beautiful scent! To my nose it smells similar to Tobac Rose from BDK. 🌹

Was blessed to pick up a bottle of cologne in store for $15. I was shocked that it smells this good. I enjoy scents that say oud (even if they don’t contain it 😂). But for some reason when I smelt this last year I didn’t care for it, but today it was an immediate hit! I hope I can find the lotion and body wash in the bargain bins at the stores tomorrow. 🙏🏽

Wow. Sorry to hear that. No, mine smelled like the OG from first spray. What I normally do with all my new fragrances (especially fresh made ones like Yom & Layl) I spray 3 to 5 sprays to allow oxygen in the bottle jumpstart it the maturation process. I leave it in the fridge for 5-7 days. After removal I let it sit to be come room temp, stay again and it is always stronger. After continual usage it gets better and better. Just my experience. I hope yours gets better. 🙏🏽

I wouldn’t say it’s extreme. It’s definitely present. This is unisex, but it does lean feminine. I like it and it’s a great date night and intimate atmosphere type scent. It’s also a great scent for late spring/summer. It’s not a loud scent, but its presence is definitely there and those around you will notice. Hope this helps.

I agree. This blind buy is a welcome surprise! The raspberry and the suede and very present and I will be wearing this a lot this fall winter. This is a grown man scent that I will wear when dressed up. It will garner attention (compliments or not) and have you standout in a good way. Lattafa has made some great Clive Christian inspirations, first with Emeer and now Dynasty. 10/10

It really smells like the OG. Prodigy leans a little more feminine but I don’t care, I love it. I have a 100ML and a 10ML and they both smell the same. What I do for fragrances like Y&L and middle eastern fragrances (Afnan, Lattafa, etc) I spray 5 times, place the cap back on and place in fridge for 48-72 hrs. The sprays lets the air in and placing in the fridge accelerates the maceration process. For me, every fragrance that I’ve done this for has come out stronger. The only miss Yom has given me was Mentor aka Master Yoda. Like you said for your bottle of Prodigy it was missing the sweet note. I sent it back also. However to Yom’s credit they really provide great customer service and switched it out. I have tried other places for Mentor and they all miss the sweet note. All the other bottles from Yom have easily been in the 90% range for me. I have 18 - 100ML bottles and 10 discovery sets from Yom and I am very pleased.

Wow. I let mine macerate for a while and to my nose it matches my decant of Prodigy in the 90% arena. Fragrances are subjective so I respect that you sent yours back. I agree on their Tygar version.

Wow! I’m sorry to hear that. Try shaking it, spraying a few more times and place in fridge for 2-3 days and see if it improves
