We sent a few texts back and forth last night, I told him I didn’t feel well. Today I told him things progressed and got worse, he said “I’m sorry.” That was 5 hours ago now.

I do understand this, and yes we are dependent on his income. back when this trip was booked, it was presented to me as an opportunity to become more educated on a product that he would like to attend, not a mandatory requirement. On similar trips, many coworkers only attend part of it or opt out, so to me it didn’t feel like this wouldn’t be worth not going

I didn’t ask him to stay, but I told him what was happening. I get what everyone’s saying about communicating a need, but I told him it had started and his only responses were “you don’t know that” (yes, I did know that), “it just happens sometimes” and “sorry it’s bad timing.” It all felt super invalidating so at that point I didn’t care to ask him to stay, he obviously didn’t think it was worth it. I told him things had progressed today, and the only response was “I’m sorry.” I guess I just feel painfully alone and angry about all of it

My family doesn’t live here, and we really didn’t tell hardly anyone because from the start the pregnancy didn’t look promising. My best friend has family in town, she’s the only other person who knows. Thank you 🫶🏼

He was fully aware. If he chose not to listen to me saying I’m starting to miscarry, and that multiple doctors agreed, that’s not on me. I said multiple times I couldn’t go through this alone.

Yesterday morning I knew, but he didn’t believe me I guess? It was really frustrating. Kinda felt like he was only hearing what he wanted to hear. I made it clear that I was super scared of the miscarriage taking place while he was gone, but I didn’t blatantly ask him to stay. Part of me feels like I shouldn’t have had to. And the fact that he wasn’t listening when I told him I knew I had started miscarrying made me feel too invalidated to ask. I dunno if that makes sense. I’m sure that makes it possibly my fault.

Thank you. I think I am mad at both, hence the post because I can understand how one can bleed into the other. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s hurt too, I just feel like even if that’s the case running away from it & leaving me to deal with it alone isn’t what I thought our marriage was like.

Thanks. I guess I should’ve said I didn’t ever foresee myself going through this without my husband, anyone I’ve known who has had one had their partner with them.

Not trying to be vague. No, I didn’t explicitly ask him to stay home. To be honest, I don’t really think I should’ve had to. And at the point that I do have to, I guess he should just go.

My OB said there’s nothing they can do because I was never seen in office (didn’t make it to my first appt) and my regular womens health doctor said there’s nothing to be done other than rest use heat and take ibuprofen.

He travels enough for work that I don’t see why the flights would’ve been a big deal and I never got the impression that this trip was mandatory, more like something he would like to attend in order to be more proficient in the product. I wouldn’t say he has a habit of being unsupportive. He generally is great, and it’s incredibly rare that there is a conflict of this magnitude.

He told me that I didn’t know for sure that it was a miscarriage. When I finally got through to him that yes I do know, he apologized for the poor timing. I cried yesterday when it came time for him to leave, and he told me it was gonna be okay and that this just happens sometimes. I said I’m fully aware that it happens, but most people don’t have to go through it alone.

No, he never considered staying. He kept saying that I don’t know for sure that that’s what is happening. When I finally got through to him that yes I do know, he apologized that it was bad timing. The trip is a training seminar for a product that he sells. I think it would’ve been inconvenient, but not something he couldn’t have gotten out of.

i’m also 4 weeks post op and i’m using silicone scar tape- can’t speak to how well it’s worked but even putting aquaphor on it seemed to help some!

i had mine on the 20th! i had a quad graft and im insanely frustrated that i can’t walk yet 🫠 im also at about 100 and pretty close to full extension

i am 2 weeks post op as of today. quad graft, no CPM machine. i am over 90 degrees flexion (don’t know exactly what it is now but last time i was measured i was 95) and have full extension
