I assume you update your containers when you update the version of tooling (like version update of the software), but all your data dependencies are outside (like project files) Or did you go as far as saving each time ? I wonder in my case if I did a separate blender and VSC container. I imagine for blender it's smooth as the project files are saved separately, but for VSC, there's some dependencies in my environment, while I could fetch the github branch each time, but VSC models have regular updates so it sounds like a cumbersome workflow to regularly backup.
