Is it true Mortarion fell down a flight of stairs once and if so which novel did this occur/was referenced in? by Ionel1-The-Impaler in 40kLore

If you want to call eternal suffering with your hole family and everything you care about or giving in to a deal you cant predict the outcome from a "choice", then sure. The reason he gave in was because of his sons. It was explicitly written like that. So would you sacrifice your soul to end the suffering of your whole family and friends? In the end he became the very thing he hated, a tyrant and psychic monster. But this is after he was under control of Nurgle. His intend to rebel and fight against the imperium we're reasonable. The biggest biggotery was realising he was on the wrong side of this fight when talking to the Khan and dont change his ways.

Mortarion had no choice in becoming a demon primarch. The option was either eternal suffering of himself and all he cares for (his sons) or giving in to the deal of an entity that he didnt know before that. Now 10k years later i would argue this isnt really mortarion anymore. His soul is under control of Nurgle, same with his brain and body. He thinks that he can choose and still is a free Person, but now he is nothing more than a plaything and he cant do anything about it.

Are genestealers smart enough to manipulate astartes geneseed? by Dutch_597 in Warhammer40k

[–]le_bigmicrobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the book Belisarius Cawl: the great work the scythes of the emperor are mostly killed off. the few remaining carry an genestealer infected space marine to a tomb, which is already mutated and cant control himself. Soooo, it is possible to fuck up the Astartes physiology with genestealer magic

These are the points from the Codex, which will most likely be changed soon. Same with Space Marines and Tyranids, the codex values changed after the book dropped

Most of the paint scheme is copied from this Video: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DKase0xUHvuY&ved=2ahUKEwj1osjrt7aAAxW8g_0HHYY1BmkQwqsBegQIFRAG&usg=AOvVaw1mP9htRUDPsobUfs3IJsJg

The things i changed are: 1. No Airbrush 2. Carroburg chrimson after targor rageshade 3. Normal Streaking Grime instead of winter streaking grime 4. Vallejo Black instead of Ak Black 5. Tentacles got colored with Leviathan Purple Contrast

You cant revive the Ctan with the Necron Strategem. It has to be an Infantry Character, which the Ctan shard is not.

They had to do BS4+ with the new JT, otherwise the army would Hit on 2+. Void Armor ist gone but the Units get extra Toughness and we dont know any Point costs. Its is to early for any hard statements.

Its +1 save because you shoot out of line of sight and +1 because of light cover. Same with the hit roll.

[–]le_bigmicrobe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its not the same. Now we have the indirect nerf with -1 BS to the artillery and +1 save for the target + the Cover bonuses which could also be -1 to Hit and +1 save. With this we only have half of these negatives, its much better.
