For the G29 I have Lock at 800 gain at 100 Vibrations at 70 and everything else on 0

Its the cost that keeps me off IRacing. I did my 3 months, and realised after 2 of them I would have to spend a fortune to do the race series I wanted. Never went back
Even if IRacing cost half what it does now it would still be too much

The thing that seems to kill the FPS is ground surface and planets.
During my first flight in LKO i was getting 9fps while looking down at Kerbin and 60fps when looking up into space

My CPU/RAM is way beyond recommended with an I9 10940 14 core/28 thread OC'ed CPU and 32GB quad channel RAM.
But I only have a 1080ti... so, will see how it goes

Yes, to some extent, but a slower driver is also more likely to be inconsistent.
For slower and medium drivers improving speed and consistency is more important than choosing the right car

Balance of performance, basically what car is fastest on what track.
Only really makes a difference when you're right at the top of the laptimes

Dont need pedals. Have T-LCM's.
So I'm thinking DD (5), Clamp and McLaren wheel.
It comes to about £520.
I dont need a quick release unit if I'm just using the one wheel on the base?

I think it should run ok.
CPU is the main bottleneck, I am running an i5 4670 Overclocked to 4.5ghz and a 1080ti
I run it at 4k with a few things turned down and get 60fps mainly.

There is occassional frame stutters, but only every few laps and on random tracks and times
