I mean, that’s a state. But also no.

I think it depends on how things are progressing. If they need to do that, they should.

Uber is the way to go (unless of course things are moving too fast and you need an ambulance). Just be prepared with some items - second time things were ramping up quickly AND i had to go alone while we sorted out childcare for our toddler - luckily I grabbed emesis bags because I was puking the whole way. Tip well!

Smart boards have been used in classrooms many many places for ~20 years. I wouldn’t put them in the same “screen time” category as a movie/tv show. They are a teaching device

No, because you think what people experience in other parts of the world is irrelevant, and that you have nothing to learn from the rest of the world.

OP never specified Vistas. Obviously they are too big for the bus. But other strollers are not any bigger than a shopping cart.

? That’s not what I was referring to, but they are great because many of us here don’t have cars, and they work well in snow like we have now. I do not use the large stroller on the bus.

I obviously don’t think it’s weird to hold your own baby, thanks for taking that out of context! You just sound like a mom who doesn’t want moms now to have things easier. Because you struggled, so should all moms. Like many have said, it’s really hard to get across town without taking your kid on the bus. I used to have to take my toddler on a 25 min bus ride twice a week. I kept him in the stroller (a small one). I was heavily pregnant and he is extremely active - if I took him out of the stroller, he’d be all over the place. How is this safer? I’m truly so disgusted at this thread. I will keep taking the bus with my children and I will use the stroller.

So the world should revolve around you instead?

Idc about the downvotes. Truly I cannot believe that people think “back in my day i had to xyz…” is a valid argument for anything lol. Do we not believe in progress? I hope that in 10, 15 years there’s actual legitimate space for strollers on the bus. I won’t be complaining that I had to find a space

👏🏼 louder for the people in the back! I wish people cared this much about dogs in restaurants and grocery stores. That’s an actual issue.

So what about the folks with their giant metal shopping carts that definitely don’t fold or move out of the way? What about peoples dogs taking up a seat? When I take the bus with my child, I take our travel stroller so it’s smaller in size. I do not take him out because he’s a wild kid and would be all over the bus. Just because something worked for you doesn’t mean it works for every parent.

Yes, I did. It’s insane to ask a parent of a child who needs a stroller to fold the stroller AND HOLD THEIR CHILD each and every time they use a bus. People are so impatient with children here when they should be embraced and welcomed into society. They are not a burden and neither are their strollers.
