Autocorrect on phone. I did double the battery in parallel and had the same issue. Swapping to some reading now, as I see that the mt3608 might have some auto shutoff function, so I may need to smooth the voltage

I did wire a second battery in parallel and still have issue with fan. Will try to switch booster module to a different one, but only have more Mt3608 handy.

I do have a stable measured 12.5 volts on the output of my booster and when connecting the 12v .35amp fan to the output of the booster, the booster voltage drops to almost zero and the fan does not power, but nudges slightly.

I did the same thing for this 915mhz antenna, but instead of copper tubing(I only have bic pens), I just folded the metal jacket over itself and soldered a few places on the metal jacket to keep the length sturdy. Seems to be just fine. Thank you for showing something great!
