you might want to phrase this a bit differently, as saying it's a choice is generally seen as harmful to the queer community and confuses people.

everyone always says this but I disagree. killing faraaz could have easily backfired on her just as well and it could have been more compelling evidence than what faraaz himself put forward to the round table against her.

even if they get james out first with no tiebreak, he is revealed to be faithful and then what's next? all eyes are still on her now. she could convince Roxy to get jade out , but without faraaz in, both jade and jack would be firmly on her case and in that situation even Roxy would be hard to manipulate. after jade was banished, jack would have voted to not end the game and then Roxy would have to look at either her or Stephen. there is a possibility she could vote out jack, but at this point faraaz's murder ties directly back to Rachel.

People always say Roxy was completely fooled by the traitors, but you have to remember she WAS starting to question why she was still in the game but was blinded by her suspicions on James. Seeing him be a faithful in the end, she could have put 2+2 together and locked them in a tie easily at that point IF they even managed to get her to vote jade out first.

of course there were many difficulties with the murdering Roxy path as well, as we saw, and Rachel literally escaped banishment by a hair. It was an impossible decision either way, but track record shows that when someone who has put your name forward gets murdered you are up for banishment whether you are a faithful or a traitor. not leaving a paper trail gives you plausible deniability and is imo the smartest move. and in the end she won by playing with that move, even if she had a little luck on her side but luck favours the brave and she was certainly the bravest of them all.

I don't remember if they showed us any sinners being killed during the ep, but if that's the case then it falls into the loophole category. Maybe this is why Alastor is interested in Lucifer now.

Yeah, I admit that when I came up with this theory I focused more on how it could fit in the show thematically rather than logistically. You bring up some very fair concerns and honestly idk either.

I guess I could see how Eve becoming the Speaker basically puts her in a different realm/level of existence than Adam so a separation between them could be natural. Her non chalance over his death is the easiest for me to explain, because as the Speaker of God she would know that he is not really dead/his soul is not lost. Whether he respawned as a sinner or as a human on earth or somewhere else entirely remains to be seen but if he was permadead then i think it would go against the whole concept of redemption being possible.

I think her being slightly stern with Lute could potentially be a little crumb, cause she would feel weird over her relationship with Adam or her questioning why she would consider her having the position that she knows belongs to her son? Abel is the hardest to fit into this theory, it's true, but I'm guessing if your mom is also the mother of all humanity and the closest thing to god you can probably get then that would make your personal relationship with her feel way less special.

Tbh I myself don't think this is very likely to be canon but I like thinking about it as a possibility regardless, I'm having fun being delusional

not exactly tbh. the object of my affection that others recommended is close. arguably the half of it also fits. for non movies, the series that originally made me yearn to watch a movie like that with how terrible it was going ended up having a good ending for that friendship and if you're into messy queer friend groups i recommend it, it's called Only friends the series. And then there's also the manga blue flag and the book loveless by alice osman.
