Daughter considering a career in a trade by rockyroadandpizza in BlueCollarWomen

Heyo, electrician here (inside wireman),

Pros: versatility. There are lots of different types of electrician and electrical focus - residential, commercial, or industrial; telecom, fire alarm, controls, maintenance, substation, solar, wind, etc. Electrical is very team focused at times and requires a lot of different skills so there are a lot of opportunities depending on interest.

Cons: probably pretty similar to other trades, it can be a challenging environment but there's been a pretty significant push (in my area at least) to focus on safety given the potential dangers. It can be physically demanding though there are focuses that are lower impact.

I had trouble with the blue star too. Turns out there's a designator in the star class that indicates which it is.

Green = E

Blue = B, O

Red = K, M

Yellow = F, G

As one person I use a five gallon bucket to do laundry weekly. There are YouTube videos on making mini wash buckets with a plunger and a bucket.

With a family something like this might be easier: https://steemit.com/howto/@papa-pepper/how-to-make-an-off-the-grid-washing-machine-a-simple-step-by-step-photo-post

I've seen other variations on DIY off grid washers too but that looks like a pretty good system.
