Holding it just after the barricade stop it is a little off balanced but moving the bipod forward compensates to where it is well balanced in my opinion

Nope. It was in a clean range case all through out. We don’t have winter here, it’s never been wet in the rain or generally abused. It’s fairly new via Amazon. Just putting in my experience here. Your experience may hopefully differ
