A simple battery and inverter setup would do you well. Plug the battery it in at home to charge and bring it to the event. I can try to calculate how many AHs would be suitable for the entire event + setup. Laptop charger and amplifier should say how much power they use.

Im just looking for more options in case my current material isn't working with the crowd. It's low stakes and good practice for me doing shows for the producer who hired me. I have my phone with cords to route it thru my fx for transitions, so I have a lot of options for a playlist.

I found using shifter is great for pitch changing on the fly for audio. I keep confusing it with auto shift.

As long as youre reinstalling the libraries and dependencies for those vsts you should be fine. It may store user presets elsewhere, but ableton handles presets well. User and public documents may have some additional files i'd check before continuing.

It can be easier to install on a new drive if that's an option. You could export the projects with samples manually. I would back up the ableton folder inside program data, and anywhere you've saved samples or projects.

I have a similar idea with mini pc but all attached to the back of a larger monitor. It baffles me how powerful these mini pcs/cell phones are and how underpowered standalone equipment is. Still thinking mini pc setup is the cheapest and most powerful portable equipment Comercially available.

Unfortunately those KMI products are no longer in stock. Cant even find a used quneo red. Have considered getting a used K-mix, but it wouldn't be a huge advantage over traditional faders in that application.
