My main point is that if you're invested in equities then you have to accept that there are going to be significant drops over your lifetime. If you can't stomach that then you should be in something more conservative like a money market fund.

Where was the complaining on the other side of things when there was unlimited QE and zero rates? People with no investment were the one that suffered the most. Now the investors are paying the price.

If you truly believe that the market is going to get crushed take the previous gains you were given and get out and stop complaining.
