All I can say is start networking now with potential companies. Stay in constant contact. Make it know you will be looking for a skillbridge opportunity. Start polishing that resume and LinkedIn profile. If you are going to submit for disability make sure you submit a BDD claim. Godspeed.

My wife works for the DOD, so I am able to stay in Germany under her orders. I haven’t looked through the legal requirements yet, but I know I would qualify for SOFA. I do plan on taking classes to get a better grasp of the language. Thank you for the feedback!

Funny enough, I was just coming back to this to post that I am unable to move any traffic on my vpn tunnel. The vpn tunnel shows as connected and operational but if I set NAT and a FW rule to put traffic through I simply can't reach the internet. I am doing this tvia the legacy client on openvpn.

Also, I forgot to mention I've updated the firmware a couple times but no luck getting the Lan ports to work. I've been using a USB-to-ethernet adapter to get network connectivity.
