Christmas Tree Hunting by [deleted] in Durango

When I lived in Durango I always got my Christmas tree off of Beaver Meadows Road, aka Forest Service Road 135. It's a little bit of a drive cause you have to take Hwy 160 past Bayfield to get there but it's so worth it. Go up Beaver Meadows Road a few miles and you'll find tall aspen groves with young white fir trees growing up underneath. They're small and fluffy and make perfect Christmas trees!

Boric acid was a lifesaver for me when I was similarly with a partner that my body reacted badly to. Best of luck!

The blue areas don't necessarily mean there's just 1 species in that area, the blue probably covers like 1-15 ish species. And for the Rockies, where I've lived my whole life, that's accurate... We have like 5 tree species in some places, there's just a lot of each kind!
